Sabres 3, Bruins 4
Sabres lose a 4-3 marathon at home against the Bostron Bruins. Buffalo fails to score in 8 tries in the shootout, while Bruin forward Petr Tenkrat beats Miller on a reviewed goal to clinch the victory for Boston. Chris Drury scores his career-high 31st goal, while Drew Stafford and Daniel Briere account for Buffalo’s other two tallies. All three of Bufalo’s goals came on the powerplay. Ales Kotalik, the team’s shootout specialist, left the game in the second period, spraining his MCL. He is the 5th Sabre to go out due to injury in the past week.
