Issue Ten
Letter from the Editor
Keep stimulated. Keep your mind open. Discipline yourself.
Progression is what life is about. Passion drives it. Integrity will sustain it.
Keep stimulated. Keep your mind open. Discipline yourself. Strive for excellence and be proud of what you do. Look beyond the material and there, from within, you will find your desire, your passion, your success.
From its inception I have wanted Traffic East to be more than an ordinary magazine. I have wanted it to be something special–something extraordinary. A publication as visually interesting as it is engaging editorially–fusing form and
function in print.
Beyond the material, there is the spiritual. And there is something truly spiritual about chef Daniel Boulud–which Keith Frome brings across in his piece, The Everyday Perfections of Daniel Boulud.
Tom Yorty’s, The Search for Architectural Form, is about the architectural masterpiece, Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo,
New York.
Paul Auster's, the Invention of Solitude is our featured literary excerpt. Additionally we have an essay on Tanzania by Shaheen Hassanali, poetry by Sina Queyras, Tom Fleming’s profile, A Study in Grace, of jazz fleugelhornist Guido Basso, and, of coarse, much more!
Be safe, be inspired and please enjoy the issue!
